FEATURED PROJECTS:

Wyndham Hotel and Resort:

Impact Lighting Inc. of Orlando, Florida, a manufacture of LED and fiber optic lighting products recently completed a contract to build fourteen large custom LED chandeliers for the new Wyndham Hotel’s banquet halls in Orlando Florida."

“Each chandelier has over 1000 LED chips that create an elegant effect with color changing hues,” states Eran Benghiat, Marketing Director, Impact Lighting Inc. “One chandelier consumes only as much electricity as a 20 Watt incandescent lamp. They use low voltage power and they are very energy efficient. In recent years rapid improvements to LEDs have created more efficient and brighter light sources. LEDs were once found primarily on circuit boards, signs and instrument panels, but in recent years have become better suited for both decorative and direct lighting applications. The Wyndham project is just another great example how this technology is being adapted into mainstream lighting applications.

First United Methodist Church, Downtown Orlando, Florida:

Impact Lighting Inc. recently completed the fabrication and installation of several glass orb chandeliers for the First United Methodist Church’s auditorium in Downtown Orlando. The orbs illuminate in various colors when turned on.

“The glass orbs were custom blown by Impact lighting Inc. and the designs resemble large glass fireflies,” stated Paul Koren, President of Impact Lighting. “Improved methods and technologies in lighting and glass shaping made this unique combination of glass and LED lights possible. Technically this project would have been extremely challenging without the availably of LED lighting. We specified LED’s early in the design process so they are fully integrated and compatible with the overall objective of the project. These very large fixtures are extremely eye catching and look fantastic when they are lit and even when they are not lit. The lamps last up to 50,000 hours, and that can have a major impact reducing maintenance costs. LEDs are eco-friendly and do not contain any rare earth or heavy metals like some more common light sources. They are also very energy efficient so it’s a winning solution for our client and the planet.”

Residential Chandelier, Orlando, Florida:

Impact Lighting Inc. recently completed several unique chandelier designs that serve as functional lighting fixtures and sculpture works of art.

“These elegant and artistically created chandeliers (pictured) were custom designed and fabricated for a private residence in Orlando, Florida,” stated Eran Benghiat. “One primary design consideration was to take advantage of the ambient light during the day, and then during the evening hours use energy efficient LED lights to illuminate the chandelier. Using Impact Lighting’s control system the homeowner can choose the color settings for suit his or her mood or to set the stage for a special event or party.”

“In today’s economy, consumers are looking to save money and they are also trying to be eco-friendly at the same time,” states Aviya Flur-Gavra. “Impact Lightings LEDs offer energy efficiency, which provides savings in electrical costs; they have a very long lamp life – up to 50,000 hours, which means fewer lamp replacements. The benefits of LED lighting means you do not have to compromise in your design or in ones responsibly to protect the environment.”
