Impact Lighting Inc. recieves 2011 Florida Companies to Watch Award

(Orlando) – Impact Lighting Inc. has been recognized as a recipient of the 2011 Florida Companies to WatchSM award, an honor presented by GrowFL, the Florida Economic Gardening Institute at the University of Central Florida and ACG Florida in association with the Edward Lowe Foundation.

Fifty companies from across the state of Florida will receive their awards at an awards gala on Thursday, February 17 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Florida Companies to Watch is an awards program that celebrates privately held second-stage companies headquartered in the state. To be eligible, applicants must employ between 6 and 99 full-time equivalent employees and have between $750,000 and $50 million in annual revenue or working capital in place. Recepiants are selected for demonstrating the intent and capacity to grow based on employee or sales growth, exceptional entrepreneurial leadership, sustainable competitive advantage or other notable strengths.

Among the honorees in 2011 is Impact Lighting Inc.

One of a kind, unforgettable, Impact's Galaxy System Design Column Art work and mirror makes a splash at the Mezz Banquet Hall in Downtown Orlando.

Located in the heart of the ultra trendy Lake Eola District, Orlando, the Galaxy Design column art in Mezz's banquet hall is a stunning never before seen lit feature. The unique lighting columns create a fun and electrifying environment in which patrons get the feeling of walking through an art gallery that creates a visual experience in the ballroom. Impact Lighting Inc. used color changing lights to accentuate the concrete texture, enhance color and focus the people's attention to its many unique features..

The energy efficient color-shifting LED's that were utilized could be controlled by the Mezz's DJ, giving him complete flexibility to enhance not only the energy on the dance floor, but the excitement throughout the entire banquet hall.

Furthermore as customers approach the dance floor they are presented with custom, stylized mirrored wall planes infused in grays and black.

Trendy Vixxen Fitness Club incorporates Impact's unique custom products to accentuate the energy and feel of the fitness center.

Impact Lighting Inc. developed a concept for Vixxen Fitness inspired by modern victorian, cathouse themes. Each room contains LED color changing lights that paint the energy of the space within. The energy efficient color-shifting LED's that were utilized could be controlled by the instructors, giving her complete flexibility to enhance not only the energy on the dance floor but the excitement throughout the entire fitness club. Furthermore, Impact's Galaxy Fiber Optic bar countertop comes alive and bathes the counter with shimmering colors.

Pool and Wine Bar incorporates Impact's unique custom products to their bar in Miami Airport

Impact Lighting Inc.'s Galaxy LED Shelves are lined with color changing LEDs behind the bar, greets the patrons upon their initial entry into the space. The use of the LED’s created the opportunity for multiple color combinations for the shelving and bar area,each generating a different feeling within the space.

Impact Lighting Inc., unveiled its new low bay LED series that replaces HID/HM and incandescent lighting, The Ion Quantum can replace existing 120VAC lamps for industrial style low bay fixtures. It uses only 60 watts of power and produces 4500 lumens with a compact hi-power LED array. Built of aluminum with an adjustable mounting bracket for optimal downlight cut off. It can also swivel on the mounting bracket up to 180 degrees, ideal for fine tuning the beam direction.
